Ok...I know Maroon Clowns are agressive.
I have a 75 G tank with only 2 Cleaner Shirmp and a Clown Tang. I know people warn against Clown Tangs, but he's doing fine. I've had him for over a year and he's happy as can be. Eats out of my hand everyday and comes to greet me when I turn the lights on or open the top.

But, I don't wanna get 2 Maroon Clowns if they are gonna give him hell.
Plus..what Anemones would you suggest?

This may sound weird...

But that Clown is my lil buddy...lol
Hahahaha...

Having learnt the hard way I would firstly suggest that 75g is too small for Clown Tang as they need swimming room and grow to some size. Secondly, how big are the maroon clowns? and are they paired? they can grow quite large and as you already know they are fiercly terratorial with other clowns and with each other. In my experience having kept one maroon with many tangs, albeit in a 300g tank, the tangs were never bothered by the clown. The maroon is very hardy and is at home in most anenomes in my experience.

I have a mated pair of maroons in my 75 with a lineatus (clown) tang and a coral beauty angel. Yes, the clowns are super aggressive (especially the female, and especially when she's about ready to spawn), but aside from a nip or a shove every now and then, they get along fine. FWIW, the female maroon is about 5", the male about 2 1/2", the lineatus tang about 4 1/2 - 5".

Nah..I have had this Clown Tang for quite some time..
Think I got him a year ago..last summer. So, he's fine.
I just don't want a couple of clowns pickin on the wrong Clown..
last thing I need is a Circus in my tank.

But then again...
I settle on a Pair of True Perculas, tank raised.
That way..not as agressive, and less stress.

lol...wierd feeling I am attached to my Clown Tang...but the lil booger loves me and plays with me when I clean the insideand/or feeds him.
He's happy..so the 75 is ok for him.
