I am looking to get either the CS6-3 or the CS8-1. There is roughly a $80 price difference between the two, but I wish to know the actual difference between the two. I have visited euroreefs home page http://www.euro-reef.com/ but it does not mention what the differences is between the CS6 and CS8 model. Both models have the same pump, 5000 Sedra.
Can anyone help shed a light on this for me.

We have both. The CS8-1 fit under the cabinet in the 155g. We had more space with an open sump for the 120g and could go with the taller skimmer. So footprint is an issue.

They are always happy to assist in your selection.

they look to be pretty close, if the height of the skimmer is an issue {room under your stand}, you might just want to go with the 6-3...ehats the size of your tank, including your sump?

ok..after furture investigation I have found the main difference between the CS6 and the CS8 to be the diameter. The CS6 line is 6" and the CS8 line is 8" in diameter. I only have about 25 inches headroom from the bottom of my sump. And since the CS6-3 stands 30" inches tall, well, pretty much rules that one out. So its the CS8-1 that is the winner.
Tank size is 100 gal, sump is 40 gal.
