I recently bought two Madison brand float switches from Grainger: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/produc ... 1611760105
Here is my question: How can I hook them up to not only pump water into my sump from a holding tank, but also turn off the pump when the level gets too low in the holding tank?
I can figure out how to hook it up to fill the sump, but I get really confused when I think about the same pump being controlled by two float switches.
I'll be using a mini-jet 404 submerged in a 10 gallon poly tank next to the sump. The float switch in the sump will obviously turn the pump on, but I want the power to the pump to cut off if the level of water in the poly tank gets too low.
Can anyone help...please?
