Water top off pump

I was planning on buying a aquaclear 301 for my new float switch for top off. I was just wondering what size tubing i will need for the return water outlet? Also, if anyone has any suggestions on a different PH let me know what size tubing i would need for it. thanks

IMO and IME the best return pump for a water replenishment via a float switch is the minijet606. It can run dry without burning up. FWIW
