Never heard of it, but Kent, IO, Reef Crystals, and Tropic Marin are all great tried and true salts. I'd wager that your dealer is using it because it's cheap, not because it's a miracle salt.
Very intersting article. BOth Atkinson and Bingman make some pretty good unbiased scientific points in the actual quality of the salts in todays marketplace.
However, I am a big fan of...
"if it ain't broke...don't fix it!"
I have been using both TRopic Marin and Crystal Sea. I have not seen any degredation in my corlas or livestock by switching from one to another. I know of people in this hobby who buy what ever salt is on sale.
I have experienced that Tropic Marin mixes better than the Crystal Sea.
I have heard that Instant Ocean gives you the most bang for your buck. I have just never tried it.
I dont remember where I read it, but theres a chart somewhere that breaks down all the various brands of salts and tells you how many elements they each have in them. Instant Ocean has the most, and Tropic Marin is a close second.
