I just got a couple of very nice Reefoptix III pendents from Sunlight Supply. How are you supposed to insert the bulbs into the fixture? It seems like the two ends of the fixture are slightly too far apart. Both pendents are the same. Am I supposed to squeeze them together slightly when pressing the bulb in? Don't want to break anything...

What wattage??? The 250's are usually a very tight fit and you need to use more force than you think you should. The 150's go in like any halogen lamp in one of the torchiere lamps that cause so many fires.

250. Each end of the bulb has a vertical flange that obviously should go into a groove or cutout in the fitting in the fixture. The cutouts are just too far apart for the bulb to fit in.

On the 250 socket you will see 2 screws on each end of the ceramics. Adjust the screws so that the bulb fits in nice and snog. If you do not do this the bulb ends will burn up due to them being lose and ceating a arc. Hope this helps
