Ok. I know that Prem Aquatics has a B-Ionice Doser, but I am looking to somewhat save money from paying out $150 bucks for one or getting one locally for that cost.

Anyone know where to get one like B-Ionics for less?

Maybe build one that isn't a gavity type either?
I prefer a powerhead type to get me going.
I looked but can't find any plans for one that isn't gravity related.

I'm in the process of looking for this myself. Championlighting.com adverstises one for about $120.00, but there is no picture or full description of the unit. I plan to call them.

Hi,
I bought a used marine technical concepts duel pro-doser for $125 and it works very good. I think it could be DIY'd if one were handy. The ESV used to be pretty flimsy, but it might be better now. HTH

One option, if you have a friend who works at a hospital, is to get your hands on an epidural syringe doser. They hold 120 ml and can be set to dose over several days. They are completely digital and precise.
Sometimes, they go out of acceptable calibration, and the hospital can't use them anymore on patients... They'll probably give them away.

Check ebay. There are always doser under the pet supplies -> fish section. I bought one there from a guy who is always selling them and it has worked flawlessly for over 2-1/2 years. Best $60 I ever spent.
