I know i put this in general reefkeeping discussions, but I dont know where I should really put this... I would like to know more about how to get pictures for my name and to be marked as a "reefkeeper" I'm sorry, but im new and couldn't find a better board to post this...

The pictures you're referring to are called "avatars" - essentially animated GIFs. Do a web search for animated GIF and you'll find a few. 8O You can then specify the avatar you want in your reefs.org profile. Hope that helps.

The best place to post these types of questions is in the "Feedback Forum." That's where the administrators will be able to answer technical questions more promptly.

But it just so happens that I just answered this same exact question in the Sump in this thread.

As far as being a "reef keeper" instead of a "junior member," that depends on thenumber of posts you have.

Basically, the use of the word {squat} to describe 1,000 posts came when one of our members asked what they get when they reach 1,000 posts. Answer? Squat :lol:
