can you angle a sea swirl down?

I need angle the outlet a tiny bit down, whenever it turns so that the current comming out hits the front of the tank, it kind of shoots water out a bit and accumalates on the top part of the black trim. I noticed that if i put my hand on the sea swirl to push the front of it down just a bit the water stays in the tank. Is there any way, its sitting level on my tank right now?

Can you attach a short piece of hose on the tip? If so, you could cut the hose at a diagonal, or use an elbow.

You can also tilt the entire unit. I raised mine 1/2 inch or so on one side.
