PetCo being Sued for Poor Animal Care

Sorry to drag this thread up from the dead. I just found out my local Petco (and I'm sure others as well) MANDATES that the store always carries cleaner wrasses. What a shame.

Hello everyone, I work at Petco right now. I worked for them in the past, and was a team leader/Aquatic Speacialist there. I tell you when i tryed to do something to make the evoriment right for the fish or the reptile, for that matter i would be told that, that is not to planogram. There idea's suck. Anyways one time when the corprate people came down and saw that i had it to planogram, the way they liked it i got a compliment. I told the big boss that this not right, the animals are dying and he said no they are not, I just laugh and said yeah right. They don't care about the animals there just care on how much money they can make and which pet store they can tare down.

When i used to work there they wanted Freshwater Angel fish to eb put on the same filter as rift lake chiclids according to planogram. They like totally diffrent pH levels why would you want them in the same water. Boy i really hated that place im glad i got out to bad teh animals didnt.
