About to start dripping Kalk, got a ?

Ok, I had a container of it arrive today in the mail. I know about the letting sit for 2-3 hours before dripping, and drip it about 1 drop a second or so. I remember reading though about vinegar and kalk. Can someone clarify what is done with the vinegar, what kind, what it does, and how much to add to the mix. Thanks for any input.

This thread covers the kalk/vinegar issue very thoroughly.

I started 5 days ago on my 75G. I add 20ML 5% vinegar to 1 teaspoon kalk and 1 litre of ro/di. It has not raised my cal or alk much yet, but I don't want to increase to much to soon. Cal is around 350 and alk around 2.7. Gunning for 450 and 3.5 or so.

Does any one know should I increase the vinerar to get more calcium in the solution or increase the kalk?
