Just put two new MJ1200's on a Natural Wave, wavemaker. Everytime they go off then back on, they shoot out bubbles. Does anyone have experience with this??? Will the bubbles stop over time? Any advise is appriciated! TIA

Seems you have two choices

1. Accept the futility of the situation and realize that air will always accumulate in a cavity that prevents said air from rising to the top of your tank.

2. Turn you pump upside down so the intake is up (keep in mind it needs to remain underwater) thereby preventing air from collecting in your pump.

Every time my pumps come back on from my wavemaker I get the same results of a big stream of atomized air bubbles, It never really bothered me and I dont believe it is harmfull to my aquarium.

Just a guess, but could it be the cavitation caused by the start-up that creates the bubbles?

I get some bubbles even after the power head has been in the tank for a month. I found that on the top of the PH there are two small holes. I took a baster and forced water into them and most of the bulles stopped. Give it a try.
