DogueDeBordeaux - We just moved so I had to set the tank up again. I wanted a more open natural look instead of a wall of rock. Here are a few pics......

Toadally, your tank looks really cool! Never seen a bowfront reef irl, but it looks great!

I still have some ideas for better aquascaping in my tank:

What did you guys use to drill your rock with? What type of drill and drill bit? Seems like the entire rock would shatter. Maybe someone could post a DIY for drilling live rock. That is an incredible method of aquascaping.

Thanks Tanu! I'll have to admit I was inspired by your tank. I have admired your tank since first seeing it. It was your idea about drilling the rock that I followed. Like I said, I was looking for something other than a rock wall, so the move gave me the chance to do it.

VegasDealr - I used a 3/4 masonary bit from HD. You do have to be very carefull while drilling. Some of my peices did shatter, but I made use of them. Look on Tanu's web page you will see the way he constructed his piping. It works really well...

That's an oceanic 150g. I sold that tank last month and have a cube. No pix of the cube yet, but hang in there.

Cheers
