Probably a dumb question(arnt all newbie questions) but when people talk about feeding thier fish nori(aka dried seaweed right?) is this the same nori used to make sushi rolls? Or is it a special or fortified type that allows the lfs to charge a little more? If it is the same... as a chef I have access to cheaper and larger quantities. Just curious if the LFS and sushi nori are the same

Yes they are the same but I would not go with a flavored variety

The Nori that I use is sold in the local supermarket for sushi wrap - just make sure you get the non-toasted, non-flavoured, non-everything else variety, you need just 100% dried seaweed
