Nepthea problem?

Hello fellow reefers!

I have a white Nepthea? coral that has started to lean on a piece of LR that it is next to instead of standing up straight. I am concerned that I have a water quality that it does not like. All my parameters seem normal, all the other corals are doing great, and the canopy on the Nepthea continues to open fully every day.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have a nepthea and it occasionally does the same at times. IMHO this is normal. It should revive in 24 hours or so.
Where do you have your's in the tank. I believe they should be on the bottom as they can't tolerate very high light.

Hi,

I have a couple in my 72. Well, one I fragged off the main stalk. The one thing I've noticed about them is they shrivel up and re-expand several times a day for some reason. I've noticed good growth on both of them, and I have mine near the top of my tank with lots of current.
