How often do you change your VHO's

I thought the general rule was every 12 months,
I just read in Bornemans new book, 6 months with serious aquarist changing every 3-4 months.

Hi Ben,

Icecap recommends (on thier ballast) actinics every 12 months and daylights and 50/50's every 18-24 months.

3-6 months would be incredible expensive!

yep, i change em every 6 to 8 months.

I change my actinics every 6 months and the white every 12. At 6 months, I notice a definite drop in color in the blues. In addition, my softies tend to open less during this period as well. Champion suggested blues every 9, white every 12.
