Sump Propagation?

Does anyone out there put cuttings into there sump? I have a 20 gallon sump on my tank with half of it acting as a refugium, with live sand, a couple pieces of rock and some macros. Anyway I was thiking of cutting some of my larger softies (colt, toadstool, ect) and was thinking of putting them in my sump to grow out. Anyone try this and have any luck with it or am I better off just buyting another 20 gallon?

I have a vew frags in my sump refugium. The way I made my sump, I have two inputs so I can adjust the waterflow independenly to the two parts. I just placed an eggcrate platform in the refugia for to place the frags on and light it with three 13W PCs from AHsupply and it's working wonderfully.

This is one of the reasons I set up my sump. it's a 20 gal long, with three compartments, the middle one containing a DSB, caulerpa, and a few mushrooms, toadstool leather and zooanthids. This is lit with a 27 watt quad PC. The caulerpa is growing great, but coral growth is slow compared to my main tank. I've had a hard time growing anthelia and xenia under this bulb.
