I've got a simple 55 gal tank, liverock, lots of corraline, 4-5 star polyps, yellow tang, goby, spotted hawk, few others --> photo

I've got a icecap 660 with 1 actinic white, and 1 super actinic VHO. Was thinking of adding a third VHO, so I could have more light to add more corals.

Any recommendations on what the third VHO should be?

If it were me I would be adding 2 more bulbs instead of 1. Your 660 can handle 4 110w bulbs which is a good VHO combo over a 55g IME. At any rate I would be adding more actinic whites (either 1 or 2) to your current setup.

I've had your setup before.

Here's what I did.

Go with another actinic white for #3, and an AquaSun if you decide for #4. That's what I did and was very pleased. However, I wouldn't advise adding them both at the same time, however.
