The metal screws on my Mag 9's are scaring me...

Theres half a dozen or so per pump that are blatently some kind of metal. I've never heard anything bad about mag's in the past but i am wondering exactly what i should expect in regards to corrosion and metal release. Anyone running any mags w/ metal screws for a long time?

i read in one post that some of the Mag7 pumps came with chromed screws instead of the gray coated ones. E.G. Danner Mfg will replace them.

I had the coated screws and they rusted too. It was suggested that I silicon the screws.

E-mail Danner at [email protected] and they'll get back to you and send you the anodized screws that should have been in your Mag pump. I bought a pump that had the bare metal screws and they were very responsive.
