Hello all, resently took coralline encrusted rocks from ocean....threw it in tank..old coraline dies new grows.....why does it like certain objects and hates others? any Ideas????
i would say it is because of the different lighting that it is getting. different coraline likes different light. also, from the shock of changing paramiters i would guess
Spores might attach more easily to some surfaces also. My plastic overflows were covered before that back of the tank, and the rocks before the overflows. I think it's the surface and the conditions.
