Today I couldn't find my Kole Tang (2.5")! I also found that the cleaner shrimp has all of its antennas shortened!
I seached through all the rocks. No corpse is found. Recently 3 fishes disappeared one by one. 2 damsels and the Kole.
Suspect #1: the 3" long big eye squirrel. This guy is a big eater and has a big mouth. He may have eaten them, one by one. He is now arrested in a small plastic box with only 1/2 litre of water.
Suspect #2: the 3" long blue tang. Tang incompatibilty? But I've never seen this guy fighting with the Kole. They seems to ignore each other. There are plenty of different algae for them.
Suspect #3: the 2" clown. Unlikely. She is not aggressive and too small.
Other inhabitants now in the tank (65g): the last damsel, and a 2.5" red starfish.
Please tell me who you think is the murderer of the 3 fishes.
