Modern Reef vs Corals of the World???

I am trying to find the bset possible source of information on how to take care and raise corals. The usual info: water parameters, interaction between corals and other corals, corals and fish. The mor einfo thr better. I am not interested in simply a list of corals of the world that may never be available to us aquarists.

I know that different people will have different views, but I have to start somewhere. Those are the two books I have found to be most comprehensive, but I am open to suggestions.

Modern Coral Reef Aquarium Vol 2 is an excellent book and up until a few months ago was probably the best source. However Eric Borneman's book Aquarium Corals : Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History is IMO the best coral book on the market at this time.

I may be wrong but I think that Corals of the world is more of a reference to all corals everywhere and the general conditions they are found in. Modern Coral Reef focuses on most of the corals commonly found in the trade with more info on aquarium care. It is a very good series and I recommend it.

The 3 setter Corals Of The World isn't an aqurium care book. These books are a reference guide for sps corals. Eric Bornemans book sounds just like what you need. It is a great book and sounds like more what you're looking for. HTH..
