Has anyone here toyed around with taking tank pics with a 35mm?

I used to mess around with photography in college and got my camera out the other day. Just wondering what kind of luck any of you had had. Any hints or tricks?

I know it can done because I have seen some great pics of tanks that are copyrighted before the onslaught of digital.

See my post on the Manarin eating formula one- I went on a bit about my success using a flash with my macro lense, no glare, excellent photos.

If you go digital- get a 3 megapixel.

Still, if you have a single-lense reflex camera and a good lense, get a flash with a pedicle as I noted and your results will exceed digital.

It can be done... really depends on camera you have as to what to do. I do things the American way, which is no direction, just try until you get it right... so far so good. Use a tripod. That is the only thing I can offer, mess around with your shutter speed for different subjects. - perc
