I want to feed my Xanthurus some Nori but i have just visited my local japanese store and there are at least 10 choices to choose from. Can anyone tell me whether they use sheets or pieces and the exact name of what they use please ?
regards
Paul

Any of the ones in sheets should be fine. Basically, it's all the same stuff, just different shapes.

hope this helps

Yes, any of the large flat sheets used for making sushi, I find the darker green less likely to fall apart. Most places will have something like Yaki Sushi Nori, or Hy Dried Seaweed for Sushi...

Nori comes in different quality and flavours.
Tell the storekeeper you will feed it to fish and you need the cheapest unflavoured nori.
He will be happy to oblige after giving you a strange look

I use a variety of them. I added several dry seaweeds when I make food for the tank. I got three different types of sheet nori for the tangs and angels. They love it. They like the green the best but I roll all types together when I feed so they cannot choose to eat only the green nori.

Paul, Make sure to check on the back that it only lists seaweed under the ingrediants. Some of them will list salt and spices/flavors. I get just the plain one like the others said.
