I am dripping about 1 gallon a day into a 46 bow. Drip 24/7 and my calcium is +500ppm.

So what happens if you over dose with Kalk?

For about the first year I was able to maintain my 38 gal system at ~425ppm Ca using 1/2 tsp kalk per 1/2 gal of water per day. Since my calcium needs have increased I've been dosing about 1/2 tablespoon per day, but haven't been able to get it over 400 ppm yet.

I think you'll get a cacium build up all over your tank, sump and your pumps.
