Q's on mounting 1" seaswirls on 180g

How do you have them mounted?I thought just sit them on top and tighten down on screws, but they are not stable.The trim is too thick or on the seaswirls the brackets not long enough to get down past the trim.I didn't won't to cut the trim, but it looks like i will have to notch the lip out.

The Swirls are made to go over something up to 1 1/4", they should rest on the top of the trim with the L part fitting the lip of the trim, the screws then tighten on the glass.

I don't think you want the bracket to come down below the trim. On my 1" there are nylon adjusting screws on the front and back. Tightening both sets provides a secure fit. Does yours not have two sets of screws?

Or maybe your talking about a different type of trim than I have on my AG. In that case I can't really help.
