I am a Swiss Guard Basslet.
A very beautiful fish - loves the rockwork, is bashful, but will come out to see you. Eats frozen brine shrimp. I loved mine until a visiting dog scared him and he went carpet surfing. One of my nicest fish.
Here is a description.

Good luck.
It is so much fun deciding which fish/coral to put in our tanks!

Thanks for the replies. Here's another hint

I can live in peace a clown goby in a 20 gallon tank...
icon_confused.gif

P.S. I would LOVE a 6-lined but am afraid that it will clean out the pod population in a tank that size

Short for amphipod and copepod, both small creatures that you will often see wiggle in and out of your LR. Natural Live food for all fishes and corals. Most pods hitchhike with the LR and will populate in your tank provided there isn't many predators to wipe their population out. Excellent scavenger and detrivore for the tank.

I'm small... -> Any member of the Goby Family

I prefer the bottom portion of the tank... Gobies - redhead, neon, randal's, shrimp, etc

I like to swim between the rockwork...
Gobies - again all species

I won't eat up all your pods... Gobies!!!

I can live in peace a clown goby in a 20 gallon tank... Did someone ever mention a goby

What am I? Goby = peaceful, colorful, non-demanding, and numerous different available species..............

Best bang for the buck for your 20 tank.

Hmmm, Ughh...., Well,

I don't think the above statement is entirely true.

However, I agree with shrimp gobies. They are pretty small, and even when they stuff themselves full of pods, probably won't wipe out your tank population (cross your fingers), I hope....

In all fun & good meanings

, I'm game, what gobie is going to "eat up all the pods"?

As an example: Blue cheek gobie, V. strigata, would not be able to wipeout a "pod" population in a 20 gallon with sand only! Amphipods would be in very, very low populations, and the copepods would be in fair abundance. The gobie would starve in this scenario before the pods would be exterminated

, prolific little critters

.

Not recommended for a 20 gallon, especially with DSB.

Aren't Pseudochromis' VERY territorial?
