There are few "good" LFS in the pittsburgh area. They are all over priced! I have been to Atlantis out in the south hills and found it to be nice. all the other ones though are not worth going to. Theres another one, but its up in Erie, its called Sea Cave i think, ill have to look it up. I was there once, they had pretty decent prices, they were also in the process of adding SPS tanks. I buy most of my live stock from OLFS. Peace out.

Im up in Erie, PA. Sea Cave is the only respectable LFS we have here. The owner, Steve Firman, is a good guy. You can call ahead if u plan to visit 814-456-9445. They have a website, but its not really updated often: Sea Cave They are generally open 12-7 weekdays and saturdays, 12-5 sundays or by appointment. They typically have mostly LPS and softies and a good fish selection in stock. I have only seen SPS corals in there sporadically or special orders. Orders usually come in mid-week.

Where is the Sea Cave at in Erie? I'm going to be in the area in a month or so for a soccer tournament with my kids and I'd like to stop in and take a look? Pittsburgh area is a wasteland for lfs w/reef stuff. I'm not too sure about m/o livestock and would like to find somewhere I can visit at least every once in a while

Sea Cave
660 East 14th st.
Erie, PA 16503
(814)456-9445

Take I-79 North all the way to State Street (pretty much end of I-79 at public Dock and library), take a right and head up to 14th street. Take a left at 14th street, and it will be 6 blocks on your left.

All you Pittsburgh guys keep April 27 open!

There will be a Frag Swap at Blane Perun's Coral Farm in Pittsburgh.

It will take place between 1 and 4 pm. Everyone is invited whether you have anything to trade or not. There may be individuals willing to sell or give you corals and other livestock for little or no money.

Hi guys:
Did any of you try Wet Pets in Canonsburg? It is right on Rt. 19. They have a large selection and the prices aren't too bad as far as LFS goes.
