Basically baby brine ( right after hatching) are the most nutritious after that the nutritional value ( which isn't that great to begin with except for some finnicky fish, fry and corals, is almost nill. Drop a few drops of Selco/Selcon into a container with the live baby brine you're feeding, let them gut load on it, and the nutritional value will be greatly increased.

I'm haphazzardly raising some. I have a 50 gallon container sitting by the garage that I put a few grams of baby brine in during the spring. Every day I take a fine mesh net (not a brine shrimp net) and scoop several dozen adults out. When I do a water change the old tank water goes into the tub. Obviously this doesn't work except for the summer. Rain, wind, leaves, bugs, nothing seems to bother the culture. The water is murky green but I've still seen deer come down to have a drink (yuck!!) In addition I can harvest copepods. Last time I checked the salinity of the water was around 50ppt.

I raise brine shrimp to adult and believe me, if I could buy them, I would. The process is labour intensive and the yields can be dissappointing.
For my write up and pictures of my process, see my web site, specifically the brine shrimp page.
