Well I mentioned that I had contacted the people over at wave2k.com to see about getting one of their interesting new wave devices. Here is the excellent reply that I got, as well as the initial email that I sent:
Hello Andrew
Welcome to the reef keeping world!The reason you cannot find any comments
about our product is because it has not been released yet.The "limited"
amount of hits on our web site is because of the limited amount of
advertising that we have done.The only ads we have done are 1" ADS IN FAMA
for the last two months.This is certainly not because of budget,we have
money to advertise,it is simply due to the fact the machine is not ready to
sale yet.I understand your concerns about budget,we all have them,however
this is a relatively expensive hobby and our machine comes in less expensive
than a full timed power head system and gives more bang for your buck.I
would love to give you a unit for testing but already have about 200 people
in front of you that want to test one.I have promised units to Mike
Paletta,Bob Goemans,
and Pat Croft for testing among others.They will give their reviews to the
aquarium world and you can more than likely read about them in the various
magazines.I have also been speaking with pet store owners and distributors
across the U.S..You will probably see one in your LFS before long.Perhaps
they can loan you one for testing.If your LFS is interested have them
contact me directly and we can talk about wholesale pricing.Please contact
me with any questions and I will be happy to assist.Thank you for your
