What type of strainer for closed loop?

Those of you that use a closed loop for extra circulation, what are you using for your in tank strainer? Have you had any problems with small inverts getting into it, like cleaner shrimp? Any down sides or cautionary statements?

Here you go Jeff...below is a pic of the one I use. I bought it from www.petwhse.com I have never had a problem with fish or inverts getting sucked in to the strainer on the closed loops I have...good luck.

I just used a length of capped PVC that I cut numerous diagonal slits in.
