Hey guys-
I have a carpet anemone that got stuck to my heater and actaully looks like some of his bottom was heated off. Will he be OK or is he a goner. He doesnt look to good. He just stays shriveled up all day long.
By now you realized you really need to isolate your heater. Not only anemone but also other inverts and fishes can get injured.
About your anemone, just hope for the best. Good luck.
BTW, how much light do you have on your tank? Most people with enough light for anemone tend to have no use for a heater.
