Skimmer pics?

Can I see some pics. of your skimmer in action and what pump is it running on? Mine sucks, hardly any bubbles in tube.

Okay.

On my equipment page are some pics of my EV150 shortly after setup. It was running off a quiet one pump at the time. I now have it on a T off of my Dolphin 3600 and results are comparable. I get fairly dark tea colored skimmate.

Here are some pictures of my skimmer. First one shows the ETS 800 with a MAK4 pump used to cure live rock.

I've since switched to a Iwaki MD55RLT pump and I get much better performance. MAK4 just dies with head pressure.

This is the one i use for rock curing...My DIY Quad Downdraft.

She takes a 3/4 horse,Centurion pool pump to drive!
