Greetings all,
I just happened to look at my tank and saw this. I can't beleive that the digital camera was within reach and there was room on the floppy.

saw this and made a quick count of the 9 chromis in the tank!

Two minutes later this is what I saw.

Any thoughts on what is going on here??

My frilly mushrooms have done this on occasion when A) feeding or B) been disturbed by something else in the tank. I think it is a protective measure.

I have some frilly mushrooms in my tank. Occasionally they will close completely up like that. It's just natural, I guess, as I've never lost any fish livestock. They're just closing up like any other coral will do periodically.
