I am in ATL visiting my folks' place in Suwanee, waiting for a friend who arrives today from Italy. I wanted to drop in to some stores that carried coral just to window shop. Any good ones? I have been to under the wave and was not happy w/ the selection.

petland in Duluth has a selection but its not showy. Fish Store in More in Buckhead(North of downtown) has a big selection and some real nice reefs set up. One is a HUGE octagon. Athens Aquarium Supply has some to. While they have a good selection of corals its very basic and barebones. Those are the three that I have been that was satisisfied with the stock. I went to Petco by Gwinnett place and was upset at the condition of their stock. Don't know if it was them or perhaps their supplier but the fish looked unhealthy. My opinion anyways. Goodluck.

I remember how long it got. I also remember something about a Kalwasser guy saying he was gonna open THE store. Oh well, that's always how it goes, oversell and under deliver, or not deliver in this case.

I have a burnning whole in my pocket too, six months of 4,000 dollars a month rent on an unopen store is no fun. setting up a store in which half the store is a Starbucks coffee style set up and the other half a fish store is no easy matter. When working with government officials, After they finally stop laughing at the idea, the officials then scratch their heads for weeks trying to decide just what rules apply two such a store. Its been a long process but worth it because the atmosphere of this store , and what it will be like spend all day inside working in it or when we have those free icecream and coffee week end promotion events, the number people that will be exposed to the hobby that would normally never walk into a Reef store. I still have much work to do to complete this dream , but the fish store will be open this weekend {unless the fire marshal doesnt like the final redoes}but Im not too concerned....Wish me luck

-Kalk, why didn't you have all this cleared up before you rented a building?

Ok I've seen the store so I know it exists. And it is a nice store. BUT....I've got e-mails from over six months ago that say you're opening in a week. I've got money burning a hole in my pocket so really, when are you opening?
