Cleaning PVC

I am in the process of setting up my old Q-tank for a new purchase. I purchased a couple of pieces of PVC to give the new arrival a place to hide. What, if anything do you do to clean the PVC? Rinse in vinegar?

My advice is to rinse in vineagar, rinse in water, rinse in 1:10 bleach/water solution, rinse again in water and let dry for 24 hours. If it's got dirt or light grease on it, soap and water should be used as well. It can't be too clean!
