Does anyone know where I can get a long dropper for spot feeding my corals brine shrimp? Right now it is very hard to feed them with my five inch dropper since the fish try to get the food first. I though if I had a long dropper about a foot or so I could feed them much easyer. I was thinking maybe like the things they use in labs for filling test tubs. Do they make anything like this? If not they really should.

I use a plain old turkey baster, but if your intent on a large dropper science education catalogs or sites on the web will have long droppers. I don't know any names off hand but I do remember seeing lots of stuff like this when ordering science equipment for my classroom. Try doing a google search on education, then science and you might find what you are looking for. You could also check out local retailers that teachers go to get supplies. Ask your high school science teacher if they have any extra long pipetes laying around. Just some ideas for you

Try a turkey baster with a piece of rigid airline tubing atached. You can make it anylength you want.

I'm lucky enough to have a relative who works in a medical lab... so I just got her to bring me a long pipette that had been throughly washed by her, and then by me... that works just fine.

I think the airline tubing would be a fabulous idea... then your dropper could reach more areas with some help, being flexible, and feed some hard to get at spots.

Good Luck!
