I have had a Pavona coral for several years. Ever since I purchased it, it has had small tan area towards the bottom that I assumed was a small area of recession. However, I recently upgraded to a larger tank and moved the pavona. Since the move this area has grown significantly and slowly devouring a very beautiful coral. Upon closer inspection, I believe it to be an encrusting fire coral.
I need some suggestions on how to remove/kill the fire coral without destroying the pavona.
Thanks!
Paul
