My only available storage place is in my garage. However, the garage can get into the 110-120 range during the summer. Any ill effects on storing water at that temp? Other than the obvious one of raising my tank temp by adding warm water.
I agree with Jawbone. I would make sure I had a good size pump in it to keep it moving well. I keep my water in the garage too. In the winter I have been mixing my water a little extra salty then dilute it with a couple ptchers of hot freshwater to bring it to temp. I am sure you could do the same by adding cold.
hi.
What Jawbone said is true, but it does not matter since storage is long term, and at the end of 3 weeks, you don't care if the bacteria population was max'ed out at the 2st day or the 3rd day.
Just cover it well so that it does not evap, and less importantly, keep the smelly fume of gaseline/wax/motor oil and other organic out. You will surprise at what can drop in when you are not watching. Does anybody see my brass door handle?
