Has anyone used this system? Good? Bad? Opinions?
I'm a beginner with salt water sytems(I had a large freshwater before) and would like to know everyones opinion on this type of setup. It would be for a fish only with live rock.... not a reef tank.
Thanks so much!

Sorry if it bothers anybody, but I did post this at multiple boards because I know that some people only go to one or another. If you see it at another board it is the same post....

I don't think I'll be as descriptive as I'd like to be, but......they suck. Get a Reef Ready, because the first thing you'll want to do is drill the bottom for a sump. The tiny wet/dry in them is next to worthless.
My 75gln SP now has no warranty, because I drilled it, no bueno. Another major problem with them is, you can't fit a real skimmer in the back!! I'm sorry, but a Lee's med. isn't worth the $20 they cost. Tenecor got carried away with the top bracing on them,as well, and it makes it a bit difficult to work inside of. Since you're wanting to do a FOWLR, the canopy can hold the lights you'll need, but, for lighting a reef, the top has to be removed for clearance of bulb and sockets and such

My wet/dry is now an extra refugium, after removing the bioballs and drip tray, and adding a standpipe to the bulkhead I put through the bottom. That feeds into a 3012 Ecofilter, which also houses a 150gln rated skimmer, heaters, the pump and probe for my chiller, and my return pump. I've built a cheesy canopy to fit the stock one(where the lid was), to accomodate 2x250w MH, and 2x175w MH(sps tank), and 2x5" computer fans to cool the lights.

I hope this rant helped, Dave.

I will also add...My next tanks will be GLASS!!
