I have maintained two 90 gal. reef tanks with low bioload for 3 months without a skimmer. I do have a refugium, but I believe in skimmers and will reconnect mine once I have completed repairs. ($$$) I see that my dissolved organics have increased (obviously) since taking my derelict skimmer off-line, but nothing life threatening has occurred... I doubt that your system will be bothered significantly in the short term, plus this is a good opportunity to observe your system without a skimmer and see the difference!

Good luck

some people dont use skimmers but if i were you i would just wait and during that period i would change the water 2 times a weak at 10% and you should be ok for a long time. the only other thing i would do if you have power heads point them twards the surfes of the water to help the air exchange a little
