GARF has some suggestions on reefkeeping that seem to contradict common wisdom on this board at times.
For instance, they suggest that you add *all* of your livestock to a new tank at once (after it's cycled) to eliminate fights over territory. But I've heard here that that is too stressful on the bio filtration.
They also believe that a plenum is vital to a healthy reef tank. I have a DSB, and have had very little trouble with nutrients. Is a plenum truly better?
And I've got to confess that some of their tanks in the pics on their site are just AWE INSPIRING. Talk about mind blowing and GORGEOUS!
It's also kind of neat to see how they are so open about sharing their methods for successful coral propogation. They truly do seem to care about the wild reefs.
