It´s worth incorporating a UV Sterilizer to a Reef Tank...?

I´ve been reading different opinions about how good it to incorporate a UV Sterilizer to a Reef Tank. In a book writed by Moe it states that for a medium reef tank (one as mine 110G)it´s not worth it.
So should I buy one? Or should I spend this money on other thing that can give more benefical boost to my tank?
If is good, where in the system is better to plug it in?

Ups...I don´t recall if Moe or Knob....stated that the UV is not so good, I´ll check out from what book did I read these

The author of "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" Bob Fenner says they are not worth the money generally. He also points out that they can kill benificial microbes as well as the bad. Funny I just read through this section last night during dinner.
