Aquarium Currents, Ed@Seaswirl, and Customer Service

With all the negative posts about various vendors, I thought I'd brighten things up a bit with a positive post.

I recently obtained a used ¾" Sea Swirl, which appeared to be in mint condition. Unfortunately the motor wasn't working as it should. It wouldn't oscillate without a little help, and would fail to return (again) without a little help. Fired off a quick email to [email protected] and got a RMA#.

Well folks, talk about a quick turn-around time! Broken Seaswirl was shipped on Tuesday July 10. Today (Friday July 13) I received my repaired Seaswirl! Note that I live in New York, and Aquarium Currents, Inc. is located in Pennsylvania. Ed wrote in a note that the motor worked as it should for 24 hours, but he replaced the motor anyway. Even included the old motor in case I was ever in need of a replacement.

This is what I call quality customer service. I've been using Seaswirls for a number of years and after this experience, I will remain a long term customer. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this product to anyone considering an oscillating return, or looking to improve upon their tank's water current needs.

I also have had fantastic service from them. Apparently they had a bit of a problem with a batch of motors on the 3/4 inch models, but replaced them quickly. A great product and outstanding customer service! I have 8 of them in various sizes and recommend Sea Swirls to anyone that wants to improve the health of their tanks with better water flow.

I feel it is one of the best investments I have made for my tank. I wouldn't want to run a reef without them.
My contact with Ed has always been first class, very helpful and a nice guy.
