I have 2 bulbs one 3 years old one over 5 in my 125. They do not appear to do any harm to each onther when touching. As far as the clown choices you made I think it was a bad idea. I had to make a tough choice when I moved my 55 and 58 into my 125. Both had E.quads in them, one with a pair of breeding percs the other with a large maroon. I loved both and had both for years but I felt I needed to get rid of one or the other. The maroon went back and I still have the pair of percs who go happily from one anemone to the other. I think you need to stick with one clown or the other. When the anems do move close and they clowns get bigger it will most likely cause nasty fights, which is something I did not want to watch in my tank.
Good luck.

BTAs do not sting eachother. It seems that it is just a coincidence that one expelled it's old water and wastes after being moved close to the other. It may have been a little sress from the move. But like the others said,it is inevitable that the clowns will someday clash. Somebody has got to go. Plus, putting them closer to eachother may only speed up the inevitable fight.

man sounds like the "other side" of your tank isnt the place to be hehe, but seriously is there any reason you can think of as to why they wouldnt check that side out?

Once a clown establishes a territory, then it is as likely to move as soap operas are to not show sex, mistaken identity, or a demon plot. Most of the time, the typical clown spends most of its time in its anemone or eating, which is why it seems to be acceptable, by most sources, to put them in a tank with less swimming room. This is why they say that clowns are territorial, often fighting to the death over their claimed area. Once a clown establishes an area, then it seems to take removal from the tank or a barrier for otherwise.

There are lots of very good books and webpages on clowns/anemones. http://www.biodiversity.uno.edu/ebooks/intro.html

Give it time one will eventually if you have them long enough. One of mine has not moved in 2.5 years either. The largest moves every 6 months or so and it is a disaster. Mostly just lots of dead shrooms and maybe some xenia from being stung. My largest is almost 2 feet across when streched out so when it decides to move its hard to accomidate it without losing some stuff. That is why my tank is designed for them, I just accept the inevitable losses from the big one moving. You can check them out on my homepage if you like. You will see by the amount of shrooms I have why I have losses when it moves.
I would expect the maroon will go in one eventually but there is no quarantee that it will. The divider idea is a good one I just would not want a divider in my display tank, but if it looks good to you then go for it. Good luck.

PS I cannot get to your tank pics from the link provided.

From now on only feed on the oposite end of the tank. This should get them to venture over to the otherside. Possibly getting them to discover the other anemone.
