Hi,
I just bought a 40G tank last week and I'm putting in about 45lb of LR. I'm thinking ahead about fish and wondering how many I could fit comfortably. I'm thinking about an ocellaris or two, a couple of green chromis and maybe a royal gamma. Does that sound about right? Thanks for your help, Matt

Yeah, that sounds about right. It all depends on how much you feed them. Will you have live sand, as well?

Sounds good. I had a 40 gallon before I moved everything to an 80. I had a Ocellaris in there for a long time. He did very well. (still have him). I also liked a barnical blenny in that size tank cause he was up close and easy to watch. I put the shell close to the glass and he was fun to watch.

I have a gramma too which is very peacful and colorful, not to mention hardy.
