here is a pic of the canopy i am building for my new 120aga
A:is the exaust vent holes(yes im gonna make them bigger)
Im trying to decide if i should place the fans (4")in position B or C
they will be blowing in..the back is sealed
any suggestions?

Not able to view your pic. But the way I did it with my 180 canopy was using 4 x 4" fans.
2 on each end, 2 sucking air in and 2 blowing the hot air out. My canopy is opened in the back. You can see my canopy on my site under 180 tank.

I think that position C will work very well, in fact you may be able to just use one 6" fan in the center of position C. I would have it blowing out and just plan on replacing it (maybe) on occasion if it should be damaged by the effects of the environement.

My vote is for position A and with one blowing in and one out (at opposite ends). The highest point in the canopy will be the hottest point, and having one blowing in and one blowing out will give you a steady stream of cool air through the canopy.

I would go with Toptank's suggestion... put them on the ends, one blowing in, and the other out. However, with it closed, you will need at least 2 on each end.
