I wonder to know any of you who run and deal with the ballast from aquatic lighting system.and how is the ballast comparing to PFO? i appriciate any of your opinions.
I used there system a few years ago when I was running 2 x 250 MH 12K on my 90 gal. I had not problems with them. I know have PFO, and they fire up a little faster and easier to setup as all you have to do it connect the plug it in. With the setup I got Aquatic lighting you will have to do some wiring, but never had any problems with the system.
I am currently running two 175 watt halides on my 75 reef from aquatic lighting. One with the 5500 hundred bulb and the other with Ushio 10,000. Never had a problem. Wiring is easy.
