Return pump recommendation

What would you guys recommend for a return pump for a 73 gallon tank. Something very quiet and reliable. Thanks!

In my opinion I'd go with a DC pump..not only cause they are dead silent to the point you think it isn't working but your able to control the amount of flow,no heat issues and they use less power

Deepwater DC 5 or 7. Reef Shoppe stocks them if I'm not mistaken. Awesome pump. Super silent.

+ 1 on Sicce I run a Syncra 3.0 on my 65 and its quite nice. The quality is there. For something as vital as the return I would stick to the tried and true Sicce or Eheim

+1 on Eheim 1262, those are super tough German made pumps that last a long time & are VERY reliable. That is all that I have been using thus far.

Then I went to someones house & heard how quiet the ReefOctopus RO-DC-3500 & fell in love & just had to buy one with the DC controller, but I still have not tried this yet & I have no idea how they fair long term?

I have heard good things about the Jebao DC6000. Do you recommend hooking it up to the GFO and Carbon reactors as well? or is it better to have separate pumps to the reactors?

i plan to run it up to my 57g while also feeding my GFO, Carbon, Misc, and Refugium via Manifold. I dont see why not

Seconded on the 1262! Also, they are pretty good on power draw as well!

I have the jacod dct-8000 (new name for jabeo)with a manifold on my 60 cube with no problems. I have valves for each feed ..you'll loose some pressure using a manifold so keep that in mind.

I used ecotechs m1 pump for my recent 150 build. Been very happy with it. Its dc and allow you to hook it up to a battery backup
