Ok. Thanks Russ. One in a 120 should be fine.
I try to, but there are a lot of hard to reach areas.when you do your Water changes, do you vacuum the sand at all?

I won't touch it. Thanks Russ.Jesse, don't touch your sandbed. Leave all sand husbandry to your sand sifting critters. When you disturb the sandbed you release gases from the anaerobic zone into the water column.
Thank you. I just ordered one.1 sea hare did a fantastic job in my 265. There are some types of hair algae he didn't touch though. Then he laid eggs and died. Then a month later I bought another one and he didn't touch the same stuff the first one skipped,,not briopsis, just brown stringy fuzzy hair, and they were 2 different sea hare, first was a blue spotted and the other was rock looking
I'm thinking of using Nualgi but am scared of it
I have a 120 mixed reef with Eco-Tech LED lights and pumps. 4-5" sand bed. Plenty of live rock. I've cut down on feeding quite a bit. I've lowered my light cycle to 50% for 8 hours a day. I run GFO, Cheato, and ESV carbon. I have great flow in my tank. I change and bleach my filter socks at least every 3 days. I do at least a 25 gallon water change every 7-10 days. I have 7 small fish, and plenty crabs and snails. My tank is not near a window. I have tried everything. HAIR ALGAE KEEPS COMING BACK! Any ideas? I'm all out. Thanks.
